Oh my goodness, Schawn-Paul & Jenny, I just can’t! Seriously, how gorgeous are they!?!?! I could just sit here and squeal over this engagement session! I first met Schawn-Paul & Jenny a few years ago during a Prom/Engagement/Family session. I then photographed Schawn-Paul’s brother’s wedding in 2016, needless to say, this whole family has become, well, family! I love working with every single one of them. When Jenny first contacted me about shooting their 2018 wedding I was SO excited

This evening, we had their engagement session and what better place to have it than the place I first met them, at Schawn-Paul’s parent’s home on Lake Wallenpaupack in Wallenpaupack, Pennsylvania.

Did you see the pineapple? No? Look again. When I first arrived to the house I noticed an assortment of pineapple decor on the counter, and thought well, they must really love pineapples! I mean, who doesn’t!? As we were getting ready to start their session Schawn-Paul brought up how they both LOVE pineapples! Not only because they are delicious, but they are also a symbol of hospitality! So they decided it would be fun to hide a wooden pineapple in some of their pictures. How many do you see?

 

 

So…. little back story here. This was the funniest thing I have ever had happen at any session. Schawn-Paul went to sit down and I am not 100% sure what happened, if the ground was further away than he thought? But, when he sat his entire cup of hot chocolate went flying everywhere. I am pretty sure I cried I was laughing so hard!

So this is them, the quirky fun couple who have stolen my heart with their peeking behind the tree photo..it’s just tradition now!
